Luxtec Adjustable
Surgical Loupes make fitting easy and simplify the customization procedure
to a minor movement of the loupe body. Neither time-consuming multiple
fittings nor intrusive Pupillary Distance (PD) measurements are required.
The frames can be fitted with prescription lenses and adjusted to fit
the surgeon’s PD on the spot the first time. In addition, if more
than one set of loupes is needed for different procedures or operating
positions (such as sitting or standing), the surgeon need only buy one
set of frames and a second set of detachable loupes, not another costly
set of prescription lenses and frames. The loupes can also be easily flipped
out of the line of sight so the surgeon can use his or her glasses for
reading, viewing X-rays or fluoroscopy on remote screens during a procedure.
Galilean
Loupes – 2.5 x or 3.0x Magnification
The
true benefit of this system is the ease of use. Movement while maintaining
focal clarity is achieved due to a superior depth of field. The
lightweight aluminum bar and individual pupillary distance adjustment
provides stability for the loupes and optimal focal alignment which
reduces the headaches and backaches produced by eyestrain in poorly
fitted or aligned loupes.

Prismatic
Loupes – 3.5x, 4.5x, or 5.5x Magnification
Ideal
for surgeons who require higher magnifications for critical surgical
procedures. The prismatic optical system produces a highly detailed
image with crisp edge-to-edge clarity and precise color rendition
ideal for intricate surgeries. As magnification increases however,
the area or field of view decreases. The Prismatic system’s
lenses are treated with an anti-reflective coating to aid in producing
this superior image.

Luxtec Surgical
Loupes are supplied in a soft, padded carrying case which can be personalized
with a name plate. Included in the case are cleaning cloth for the lenses,
protective caps, hinge adjustment tools and an autoclavable flip lever.
